Thanks again for your thoughts. I wasn't aware of the "failed result.". I'll have a look at that if I can find it.
I haven't any other thoughts at this time on the Manager/screensaver problems but I'm not giving up the ghost yet awhile. I've been trawling every possible source for clues.
