BOINC shows 2 WU's received, Account shows 4 WU's sent?

Neither -- there is a problem with the BOINC core client. I'll post some information about this in the FAQ during the next day. Provided that you are currently returning successful results, and the DB does not show you with dozens of copies of the same computer, you can safely ignore this problem for now.
