Using Einstein@Home on a computer not connected to internet

This question is asked occasionally and there are some threads about it in the forums. Some useful answers you may find in this one.

The easiest way in your case might be to export the BOINC directory on you Laptop to the Desktop and let the boinc client (and thus the App) run on the Desktop in the directory mounted from the Laptop. Of course when you have the client running on your Desktop, make sure it doesn't run on the Laptop in the same directory at the same time.
