Bernd, did the project plan to made the app for HPUX and AIX, too ?
There are no plans to extend the range of official platforms (Windows, Linux, MacOS, Solaris SPARC) any further in the future.
Any other platforms that may show up (this already includes FreeBSD) are mostly free-time fun of the project developers, which we do when we have really free time and a (real or virtual) machine with a suitable development environment available. Support of any kind (updates, optimization, installation support) is limited to the time we have left over from the "official" project (and the fun we have with these exotic machines).
IRIX came up because there are two of us who really like their sgis, and would love to see these doing something useful. I don't have access to a HPUX or AIX machine at all, and I doubt that anyone else of the project team has. We have some DEC Alpha machines lying around here - if I have some more time I'll set up one or two and make an App for Linux and/or OSF/True64. But don't ask me for a timescale.
AIX clients : anything around ?
