There is a problem when the installer should tranlate the group name Users to Benutzer in German or the equal name in a other language. The localization is not working correctly in this case.
As workaround it is possible to create a local group Users on the host before installing BOINC.

Ich glaube nicht, dass es einen Zusammenhang zwischen dem falschen Gruppennamen und einem Download Fehler gibt.

Nein, Benutzer in Users umzubenennen ist keine gute Idee. Beide sind so etwas wie Standardgruppen in Windows.
No, renaming Benutzer to Users is no good idea. Both are something like of standard groups in Windows.
Ich bin sicher der Fehler wird in der nächsten Version behoben sein. Der neue Installer kann zwar mehr als der alte, aber die Entwickler haben ihn noch nicht voll im Griff. Da werden vermutlich noch mehr Fehler auftauchen.
I am sure the bug is fixed in the next release. The new installer can do more then the old one, but the developers still don't have it under full controll. Probably there will surface more bugs.
