Can someone please look after the download errors so many clients experience since yesterday???
One or possibly two of the E@H download mirrors have had problems recently. I emailed the administrators of the mirror sites telling them to look into the problem.
FYI, I also realized that I had a small bug in the "mirror status" section of server status webpage that I just fixed.

If I find time I will also make the mirror checking more rigorous as the mirrors are having more problems than I would like. It would be nice for E@H participants and myself to have a better idea when the mirrors are failing.
(I got a lot of servers doing e@h and am pretty sad they waste their time now..)
When there is a downloading error your computers do not waste any real cpu time. The downloading error just shows that your computer had a problem downloading one of the files before starting to run the result. When you computer fails to download a file it will try a new E@H mirror.
From what I can tell your computers have at lease some work and they are not sitting idle. Right?
Thanks for bringing the download error problem to my attention.

I removed the AEI mirror from the the list of mirrors to be used by E@H. Since you are in Germany this was your primary mirror and was causing your problems. Any new work you download should have Glasgow as your first choice mirror.
