That means the system can't resolve the hostname. In general, something's wrong with you internet connection on that machine. Try "ping einstein.phys.uwm.edu" in a terminal or open Safari on this machine to http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu . If this works, make sure you haven't mistyped the urls of the projects.

What exact OS version are you running? I wonder if the reason for the hanging has something to do with the multithreading - at least E@H is multithreaded, SETI might be, Predictor AFAIK isn't. Once you have a data file, the amount of data communicated with the E@H server should be very small for quite a number of Results, so the connection time should not need to be long...
