Phantom WU's - how can I clear them

I have 28 phantom WU's sitting in the queue for one of my new PC's. There were problems setting boinc up on it and I got lots of "no reply" messages.

The PC is now working fine and I know the phantpm work units will eventually be re-sssigned to someone else and disappear. However, is there any way I can get them removed sooner, so they will be re-assigned to someone else and get processed without further delay?

The computer ID is 216798. The phantom WU's are the ones "sent" before 17 May 2005 14:29:23 UTC (all showing as "In Progress")

WU's received after that date and time have arrived and are being crunched.

I don't know of any way to remove them. You just have to wait until the work is completed by someone else and then eventually the timed-out WU will be deleted from the database and will disappear.

Any progress to report on the handshake code you mentioned as being the "fix" for this ongoing problem?
