Please download einstein_S5R4_6.04_windows_intelx86.exe.zip. The file einstein_S5R4_6.04_windows_intelx86.exe in the archive is meant as a replacement for the file with the same name in the project directory. If you don't know how to build an app_info.xml around the App files to prevent the signature checking, please ask for help here.
If this cures the problem, please let me know, it will be incorporated in the next releases of the Windows Apps then.

As far as I understand the replacement actually didn't solve the problem, did it? I compiled the replacement switcher with the oldest version of Visual Studio that works with BOINC (2003), and I don't know what else (i.e. which other "old libraries") I could use. Hm, maybe I should try to port that small switcher code to VC6?
What you could do of course (for a test or a solution) is to write an app_info.xml for your system that completely leaves out the switcher and uses the executable suitable for your computer as the application binary.
