Please see front page FAQ. 4.25 might cure this problem for you, but it's not guaranteed.

I've updated the FAQ with some more information about this. If you have a proxy server or use another machine as a gateway to the internet, BE SURE THAT THE TIMEOUT INTERVAL IS SET TO SEVERAL MINUTES. Please see here in the FAQ for more info and this thread.
