What do I need to do to fix this?
According to the scheduler code, this means that you have set your preference setting CONNECT TO NETWORK EVERY N DAYS to a value greater than 7 days. Since the Einstein@Home deadline is 7 days, this is apparently keeping you from getting work.
I'm not sure that this bit of scheduler code is right, since BOINC will make additional network connections as needed to upload the results before the deadline.
So... what is your preference setting value for CONNECT TO NETWORK EVERY N DAYS?

After a couple of days of discussion on the BOINC developers mailing list, David Anderson has removed this constraint from the stock BOINC scheduler. So even if you have connect to network every N days set to 10 days, you will still get work from Einstein@Home (with a 7 day deadline). Note however that your machine will initiate connections more often than every ten days, in order to upload completed results on schedule.
