    There is definitely a problem, but it's deep down in the system (currently we suspect the internal function __vfprintf() causing a deadlock when called from within two threads). This problem is not limited to Tiger, I see it on Panther, too. But it tends to happen more frequently with newer clients. We are chasing it...

      Heads-up: Apparently this has been fixed now. Should be better with the next set of Apps, which is expected for next month.
