A FreeBSD x86 SSE App is available from our Power User Apps page.
It was built from the same code as the 4.33 App, so should be rather fast.
There's no graphics program included, but the App should write the now usual (extended) xml progress info into the shared memory segment for external programs to read.
Only run this if you're sure your CPU supports SSE
Happy crunching!

It should be somewhat faster because of the prefetching code that's not (yet) in the Linux App. Overall there are both reasons for speedup and slowdown compared to the Linux App, don't ask me how they add up. I'd say give it a try.

I first wanted to see if it worked as expected on MacOS Intel, where there are many more or less identical machines. Also that's the compiler I probably know best.
I think I'll get to a similar Linux App some time next week. Windows, as usual (with me), will take a little longer.
